Turns out I did have a kid. I haven't seen him in 3 or 4 years, so unfortunately I don't have any of the baby pictures that are so popular on the internet these days. However, I do have the most recent pic......
His name is Diesel McConkey Rose...As you can see, we have very similar features. We have almost the same hair and eyes. It also appears we have a similar gut. I don't know when he picked up smoking honestly...you turn your back for one minute...and all of the sudden you kid is a smoker.
Well, If you got'em, then smoke'em I guess is how the saying goes.
In other news,
I was in Texas this past weekend to do some pheasant and duck hunting. The duck hunting wasn't too great, basically the most exciting thing that happened was me falling down in the mud and getting my pants soaked and very muddy. We did kill some pheasant, which was awesome. Also very nice to see some of my good friends that I don't get to see that often anymore these days. I very much enjoy Texas when I get to visit. I like where I am, but look forward to moving back to the Lone Star State again someday, and flying my Texas flag the same height as the American one.
The last leg of the trip was me flying out of Dallas to Tulsa, and then to make the 3.5 hour drive home, but, flight got delayed, didn't get to my truck in Tulsa until 10:15, after scraping 1/2 inch of ice off of my windows, and then drove about 5 hours home due to the inclement weather. So, got home at 3 am, and up at 6:45 am to head to work...but that is just how I roll. All in all, the late night drive was worth it for the great weekend I had.
By the way Kelby, I love the saying " It is what it is" I don't see how you could take offense to this one, I say it all the time, "To each his own" I guess.
